I bought two cell phones online @ att.com. I purchased the plan which is about $70.00 a month for two phones. I was aware that there would be an activation fee so I was expecting my first bill to be $110-$120. When I opened my first bill it was $225. I reviewed my bill online and I noticed that they charged me $100 for one phone and $20 for the other, instead of $50/$10. I called customer service and i was told that i had to pay for two months in order to "get caught up with everybody else". Keep in mind I only had the phones for one month and I had to pay for December when it was only November at the time I got the bill.'Til this day I am so confused and pissed off 'cause I called twice and pretty much was told the same thing. What does "get caught up with everybody else" mean? Now I know why they have 2year contracts. They cover their butt and then charge you a whole lot if you want to cancel. DO NOT buy phones online.
