I was in the market for a Cannon Digital slr - mainly looking at the Rebel xti model. After researching several websites, I decided to purchase my camera through a company called FotoConnection. I ordered a Cannon Rebel xti per their website. The picture and description of the camera that I purchased showed no evidence of being anything other than the Rebel xti model. After the purchase, a Sales Rep. From the comapny called me at home, trying to sell me other products and upgrading to many different things trying to get more money out of me. When i got the camera, it was the wrong model, It was a Cannon slr, but it was the k.I.S.S. Model, not the xti that I had ordered. Icalled customer service, which took over 20 minutes on hold, I informed them that this was NOT the camera that I ordered or the camera that was on their website. They reassured me that this was the same model, only the "international model", and that it was the exact same camera. Not only were they rude, and argumentive to me, my husband got on the phone and they were rude to him also. They kept sticking to their stroy that it was the exact same camera as the rebel xti, just the international model which is called k.I.S.S. Xti. It may have been the same model, but it still was not the camera that was ordered. It was a royal pain in the booty to get a return authorazation, but finally got it. It took the company over 6 weeks to credit my card. After a month of waiting, I called every few days and the cust. Serv. Dept. Kept telling me, it should go through today. They told me that 3 times in two weeks, until it did go on my statement. Only problem was, it was not for the full amount. It was $136 less then what i had paid. I called back yet again, waiting on hold for another 20 minutes - and was informed that they charge a 15% restocking fee and that there was no way i was going to get that money back. After getting into an argument with them, i hung up the phone. This person "LEO" that i talked to called me back at my home and was harrassing me. He called me twice to do this. This company is terrible!!! Do yourself a favor and find another place to order a camera! Scam! Scam! Scam! Scam! Scam!
