Verizon Wireless continues to lie and decieve the consumer about their Blackberry data plans. I was told while upgrading from my old blackberry to a new one, that LIKE BEFORE, I can cancel the data plan and have it blocked. However after going to a store and purchasing a new phone, I was told AFTER that, that I cannot.
After numerous phone calls with mis-informed customer service representatives I returned my phone (my service luckily was already up) and switched services. They are the only tele-communications provider that doesn't block data services and charges huge fees for it. I was lied to continually by various customer service agents and then told by them other services do the same. If you are looking to purchase a blackberry, I would highly suggest another service unless you want to be deceived and lied to.
