LL Cellular described brand-new unlocked Razr cell phone, with case and chargers included. When we received it, it would not work. We took it to the Alltel store (it was described as 'unlocked' and able to be used with Alltel) and they took a look at it and said immediately that it was used and the battery was no good - it was water-damaged and tampered with and needed to be replaced (for around $70!).
When I tried contacting seller to return phone, I had to call at least a dozen times (during regular business hours) before I finally got ahold of him... Then he put me on hold for a long time - long distance! I had to call back AGAIN to get a return merchandise authorization number, then I returned the phone to him the next day via US Priority Mail, with delivery confirmation. One full week after he received the phone back, I tried contacting him again, asking when he was going to refund my money. He failed to reply MANY times I tried to contact him... Then when he finally answered an e-mail, he told me to call him to get a RMA#!!! He didn't even know that the phone was already returned to him over a week before!
I filed Paypal complaint, and because I had the delivery confirmation number and proof that I had returned the non-working phone, Paypal decided in my favor and gave me a full refund yesterday. (which is good, because LL Cellular was obviously never going to get around to it!)
