I ordered a Multiview Plus 2000 cable box from Covert Electronics last week. I should have guessed something was up when they wanted an extra $20 if I ordered using a VISA card. When the package arrived, the inside packaging was taped together with labels that said "By opening this package, you understand and agree to all the terms described on the enclosed disclaimer." Luckily I could slide the manual out without breaking the packaging seal. They had sent me some other brand box. When I explained that I didn't want the inferior box, they refused to accept it back.
This place is a basic rip-off. Their web-site has all this flowery language about their "1-year warranty" and how they are "honest and straight-forward with [their] clients". Don't believe it.
