No warrenty, no refunds, no exchanges, your screwed

I purchased a new lead melter from them. It had a defective cord causing the item to short. I contacted the owner a couple of days after I received the item and was told that there are no refunds or exchanges and that I would need to contact the manufacturer for any help. I explained that I purchased the item from them and bnot the manufacturer and that it was defective. I was told too bad.
