Our GE washer smashed and flooded the laundry area. The technician exposed the washer and unearthed that the drainpipe between your bathtub and push had divided. He mentioned this was really uncommon. Upon further analysis he unearthed that two of the dampening straps (shock absorbers) were damaged. Why did they split? Since the additional two dampening straps combined with the increasing equipment were never mounted in the manufacturer. This place undo pressure on the two which were mounted creating them to interrupt. This triggered extreme motion of the bathtub which triggered the drainpipe to interrupt.

After several telephone calls, emails and characters to both Customer Relationships and GE headquarters, GE will not recognize the components were never mounted, despite being informed this twice from the restoration organization.

GE doesn't remain behind its low quality devices! Prevent the stress. Avoid GE devices.
