I ordered an digital SLR camera from Abe's of Maine and paid an extra $28 to have it overnighted. They called and let me know that they were shipping it out that night. I still hadn't recieved it 4 days later.
I called asking about the status and they told me that the product was not in stock. I asked to cancel my order. I still have a charge for over $700 dollars on my credit card company.
Most legitimate business don't charge the cardholder until the item is shipped. I found it unbelievable that they would charge my card for a product that they don't have in stock and include the rush shipping in charge when they had no itentions of shipping the product out anytime soon.
I was on hold for nearly a half hour today attempting to reach their customer service to ask them to remove the credit card charge once again. I called back and asked to speak to someone from customer service immediately and they transferred me to "a manager" who never answered the phone the whole 10 minutes I was on hold.
I am still in the process of trying to get my money back for a product that I will never recieve. Never do business with this company. I'm a college student who needed a camera for a class and now I'm out $800 bucks.
