I recieved a letter in the mail stating that I had owed $23.63 for calls that were made from a different number than my phone number to another number. I have never seen these numbers before and when I called the numbers the first one was a fax and the second was disconnected.
I know for a fact that I did not make any of these calls and my husband hasn't either. Also to add to this confusion is that my phone bill is in my name and this bill is in my husbands name. The letter states that the calls are put through by a live operator or automated service on a seperate switch than that of my normal phone service provider and billed seperatly by legacy. At the bottom of the letter it states that if I do not pay this amount that it will be sent to a collection agency. This is a huge scam.
