I got a dsl box from them a week ago and I still get booted off the net

I just got a dsl box from Embarq and I am getting booted off the internet more often with their internet services then I did with a dial up connection.

When I called tech support, they told me to take my business else where...

I haven't had this dsl box for more then a week and it isn't helping much.
