This was the first time of me doing business with onrebate.com. I was told to send in the original invoice, original barcode, and the rebate form.

After sending them in, I was told through an email that they did not receive the barcode. I didn't make any copy of the barcode because first of all, they had said they would not accept copies of any barcodes, so I didn't bother making a copy of the barcode, and second of all, they did not tell us to make backup copies of our original documents to be sent in. So what I had sent in was all that I got, no backups.

I explained to them the situation, and as a proof of my purchase (the only document that I have on my hand since everything else was sent in to them), I sent them the confirmation email of my purchase and my purchase number, but nope, they would not relent. But if they did not detect the barcode in my envelop (a small little piece of cardboard), it was not my fault.

So now it's up to you to decide whether to do business with onrebate.com or not.
