I ordered a big screen TV from UBID. UBID has a 10 day return policy if there is a problem.
Immediately after receiving the TV and plugging in the TV, I noticed a black line across the screen. I logged a complaint into UBID, but because of the way that you enter a complaint on a weblink, and not an email. I had no way of proving when I complained.
I sent 3 complaints, and UBID finally responded on the 11th day to say that I had missed the warranty period of 10 days. I tried to work this out with UBID and American Express, but since UBID lied about when I submitted the complaint. I'm stuck paying for a broken TV.
Do not buy any big ticket items from UBID if you want my advice.
