I've purchased a Motorolla V-600 cell phone from InPhonics back in May (almost 2 years ago). They've sent me a defective phone that didn't work. I've sent it back. They've sent me another one - same story. It was the third phone they sent that was working, but throughout this mailing back and forth of the phones I wasn't getting any service for almost 3 weeks. Nobody was able to reach me, because InPhonics phones were not working. It was a total disaster - I've missed tons of important calls over the period of almost 3 weeks. For all this inconvenience that the InPhonics has caused me, they reluctantly sent me a rebate form for $100 as an "apology" (they call it customer satisfaction or something like that). I filled out the rebate form with all the necessary information and mailed it. They've sent a reply that since the phone was sent back I am not eligible for this rebate, which is ridiculous, because this rebate form was issued for my having to send this defective not working phone back in the first place (and another not working phone after that). It's been almost 2 years now - I've been calling a lot of times to their rebate center, to their customer service center, explaining why I've got the $100 rebate over and over again, but nothing has been resolved. I've spent an enourmous amount of time on this, hoping that they would honor their own rebate (especially that it was given to me as an apology for a phone disaster that they've caused earlier), but it never happened. I am still keeping that e-mail that they've sent to me with the $100 rebate, but it's been a while that I've realized it was just a rip-off on the InPhonics part. Turns out there are plenty of customers ripped off by them.
