Do Not order or purchase the Cold Heat Soldering tool if you are expecting a free wire stripper with it. I got mine October sent in all the info with a check for $5.99 to cover shipping and handling of the wire stripper. The check was cashed in November.
I finally contacted the company in February and at first could not find the order. Then after checking with a supervisor was told that those orders went to the wrong address and will be processed in 2-4 weeks.
March still no wire stripper. I phoned again and was told that they are back ordered and do not know when they will be able to ship. Then I received a post card stating I can cancel the order but not to worry because I will not be charged until the item ships... They already cashed the check in November!
Well it's now April and I called again and was told that (whoever answered the phone) they are no longer handling the wire stripper account but could issue a refund of the $5.99. I had to give in or never see my $5.99 again. This is not what I wanted... I wanted the wire stripper! I hope someone starts a class action suit and forces the company to dish out $20 per customer to purchase a wire stripper at Home Depot.
