Recently, I received several charges on my Sprint bill due to "premium text messaging." With Sprint's help I tracked this to unlimitedringtones.com. I don't have an account with this website company. But I learned that they bought or transferred from planetringtone.net.
A couple of years ago I signed up for a one year subscription with planetringtone which has since been long expired. Apparently unlimitedringtones got my cell phone number from them and decided to start billing through my cell phone company. This is of course illegal. I have contacted the company through their website and I am waiting for a response.
