6 years ago we renovated our kitchen and added all NEW GE Profile appliances and updated our 25 year old washer and dryer with GE. We never had any problems until about 6 months ago. The microwave would cut off in the middle of cooking, the washer would take us about 20 minutes and 50 trys to get it to start and our bottom drawer freezer would go up to as high as 13 degrees when it wanted to. We hired a service company approved by GE but paid for by us since it was out of warranty. The repair man said since the freezer was not acting up when he was there he could not find the problem. I could not find the money to pay him either! He said for us to call when the freezer temp goes up. We both work all day so the freezer is closed all day and it seemed like when we opened it, it would start to act up. We always pushed on the door to make sure it was sealed and if it wasn't the beeper should have sounded.

We have since had to replace the microwave which cut off in the middle of cooking and would not come back on. The washer has been replaced because who has 20 minutes to stand over the machine trying to get it to work! Now we have to replace the refrigerator. I don't understand how my parents had their appliance well over 30 years and we have trouble getting ours to work 30 months. What has happened to GE? We have raised 6 children and they are now looking to buy their own appliances and I am thinking GE will NOT be on their wish list. Sad, disappointed and broke!
