GE repair person came out to fix a problem in my freezer. He took off the back panel and spent 30 minutes working on my freezer to replace a small part. After he left, my ice dispenser ceased working. We called GE and told them about the problem. They sent the same repair person back and he claims he never touched the dispenser or did anything to the ice maker. He now says I need a new motor. I believe I have been cheated by GE as the repair person damaged my freezer. This is the 4th repair I have had to make to the freezer in only a few years. I have spent hundreds of dollars on repairs and the appliance is only 5 years old. GE refuses to compensate me for my damages. Their customer service people are no assistance as well. I have escalated this issue to their consumer affairs department with little success.
