Dear Sirs,
On 9-17 I placed an order with Royal Camera for a digital Canon EOS Camera. About two weeks after placing the order I contacted Royal Camera, http://royalcamera.com/caneos30kitd.html to find out the status of my order. They told me the camera was on backorder and would be shipped in 3 weeks.
After waiting the three weeks I contacted them again, only to be told that the camera was not in yet and it would be 3 more weeks. Again I patiently waited.
After numerous attempts to find out when my camera would be shipped, today, 12-13 they informed me that it would not be shipped in time for Christmas, and when I complained they cancelled the order.
Every attempt I made to resolve the issue was met with the same procedure, they tried to sell me a more expensive camera. This is an item that they obviously do not stock nor intend to stock. They simply use it as a low price leader and then attempt to upsell the customer.
In my opinion they need to be investigated. They are giving people the ROYAL shaft!
