I went online looking to buy a camera for my wife for Christmas. I knew exactly what I wanted and was shopping around for a price. Royal camera had one of the lowest prices of anyone. Reading their online comments from other customers, they sounded reputable. I ordered the camera from them.
That evening I got a message to 'confirm' the order. When I called back, I was asked if I wanted to buy any accessories. I said no. Then I was asked what battery I wanted with the camera. This was going to cost an extra $300 to $400. When I asked why the camera would not come with a battery when everyone else's advertised price was with one (of course at least a $500 higher). The salesman became rude and offensive. We got into a shouting match after which I hung up, called their customer service line and cancelled my order. I will never shop at their website again!
They advertise item at low low prices, but do not include the necessary extras to make it complete and functional. They jack up the prices on the extras so that your total cost ends up more than what it would have cost at a reputable dealer.
