I received a bill from premier premium for $120.00 for 4 phone calls made to the UK. These calls were made when I was at work. I called the company and was originally told that I was responsible for the bill and that if I didn't pay it would be turned over to a credit agency. No way. I fought thru the ranks for days and finally got them to take away the charges.
I thought all was ok until I got my phone bill from SBC. There are calls on there that were billed to me from One Call Comm and Tellis thru SBC. All for the amount of 406.36. SBC has sent out a letter of remand to these companies, so I don't pay the charges to SBC, but then I will have to deal with the companies directly. That is great news for me, because I want a piece of these a$ho! Es!!! Too bad it's the weekend and of course there is no way to contact them. Come Monday, it's on!
There is no way I am going to pay this bill and I urge the rest of you not to either. If you pay it, they will win and others keep getting the same treatment. Your credit can be fixed if they report it, but the scamming cannot be fixed unless you and I as consumers and victims take a stand on this. Report this to the FCC (they already are currently in a lawsuit with some of these companies), report to the FTC, BBB, and your states Attorney General.
