Babies R Us In store, online and especially on phone - frustrating and disappointing!

At 4pm I was triying to order something online%u2026 it came to the end of the transaction and I had FREE shipping - yay! But then i had something to do at work and I didn't pull the trigger. At about 8pm same day, I went online and went through the steps again. No free shipping. Um? What happened? We're talking a large order with over $100 in shipping costs! Free shipping would have been a godsend since I'm 8.5 months pregnant.

So I called Customer Service and the rep had no idea what he was talking about, he said that promos can end at any time%u2026 he had no explanation, no documentation as to when the promo was supposed to end or when it even started. I asked if I could order over the phone and he could input the free shipping, but he said they didn't have that capability. Really?

I started to get frustrated, because he couldn't give me a straight answer - just that they had free shipping a few hours ago and now it isn't available. I said what is this a magical world where babies r us just pulls their own tricks. He got cocky and said in a magical world one would expect that there would be free shipping all the time! Excuse me!!??

I asked to speak to a manager and he put me on hold, next thing I know I'm hung up on!!
