What a shame...! And what a sham...!
...in the usual style of online-ads that lead you through REAMS of blurb to get you to shell-out some dosh for a product offered at a "huge" discount that promises the World and in the end delivers very little, this is pretty typical of the genre.
As a helicopter pilot and Director / Producer of world-class documentaries myself, I would say that the quality of the product majorly sucks in terms of the imagery offered and that the content is little more than visual "happy-snaps" of flying time with various students who are taken through different lessons with little REAL instruction or mroe to the point explanation of the whys and wherefores of what is going on.
One could say that one gets what one pays for and US$47.00 isn't a killer on the pocket. But its the PRINCIPLE of the issue that bugs me: when the hype is such that you are lead to beleive the product to be delivered is REALLY going to allow someone in this case, my son to learn to fly helicopters, and in the end, the delivered product turns out to be absolutely both lightweight as well as ineffective, then I believe I have a right to bitch and call thsi what it is: a barefaced SCAM.
Bruce Hogan should and certainly, obviously isn't be ashamed of himself for conning people out of their dosh with such empty promises. Yes, there is a 60-day guarantee for money back if dissatisfied with "no questions asked". But, whilst I shall be applying for the return of my money, I won't be holding my breath to see it respected and eventually returned...!
Additionally, I was disgusted to read other reports that stated the video-footage was plagiarised and stolen illicitly for his own commercial use from the original producer of the original material. That is just totally uncool.
Perhaps being charitable Bruce Hogan never intended to misrepresent himself and his product... But were that REALLY the case, then he would have gone about the issuance of its content in a different manner. One that respected the morality of the intellectual exchange, and sincerely attempted to give value for money in return for his buyer's faith.
In the end, all dishonesty is rewarded in the place and by the way it originated.
