This company sends very authentic-looking mailings requesting submission of your company's corporate minutes and a filing fee of $125, to be returned to them within 10 days.
The form looks very much like an official notice from the state of California to your business, complete with your company name and corporate number. If you do not carefully read the form, it would be easy to miss the small disclaimer that informs you this solicitation is not sent by or approved by any government agency.
The Better Business Bureau already has a file on this company for its deceptive practices. This type of scam should be illegal and the sender should be prosecuted for fraud.
