Checked my checking account balance today and found that it was overdrawn due to atleast 5 pending unauthorized charges from Interactive Audio Text Services totalling approximately $260. I know for a fact that these charges were fraudulent and unauthorized because we have been very careful not to use this account and knew exactly how much money was supposed to be in there.
I immediately called my Bank who cancelled my debit card and told me that we'd have to wait to see if these charged actually posted. Then, the bank's dispute & fraud department would investigate and reimburse our money plus overdraft fees.
What a ripoff! I have no idea who this company is, but I've done some online research and see that there are complaints from around the country about them illegally debiting other peoples' bank accounts.
I intend to do everything I can to expose these criminals for what they are!!! I see from a previous post to this website that a company named JP Media seems to be involved as well.
