South University, Glen Allen Virginia CACREP Accreditation

For future and current students in the Mental Health Professional Counseling program, please be aware that South University is NOT CACREP accredited and before you commit to the program if you are a future student, make sure that you can get in writing from the college that they will be CACREP accredited by the time you graduate from the university. If you are a current student, please get as much information about CACREP and how it may affect you before you further commit to the college.

This CACREP accreditation is very important for anyone seeking to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. It will make a difference after graduation if a student is going to seek further education, teach and more importantly there are some employers that won't hire non-cacrep graduates.
