Western International Contennental University
1 class, paid for, after 7 yrs not hearing from them they say I owe more money, no paper proof

Today I received a phone call from a "collections agency" saying that I owe Western International Cont university 625.00. First problem it's been atleast 7 years since I even took 1 class from them. I withdrew from the class because it sucked. I paid my balance and I made sure I didn't owe anything. I haven't received anything in the mail or any phone calls from this so called "college". Then I get a phone call from a lady saying she's a collection agency, wanting my credit card number to pay this so called balance 7 years later??? Seems like a scam to me. When I asked her why I haven't heard anything from the school and had no paper documentation of this she stated that she would turn me over for refusal and legal action be taken. If I really do owe a balance to this Western Internation Cont. University why have I received no correspondence from them personally and why now after 7 years? Also, I have been attending a real university for the past three years and have had no issues as far as financial aid... If I had a balance from another college I would not have been able to enroll each year for the past three years at my current university. Western International Cont. University was a joke of a "college" it was a rip off. I only took 1 class and withdrew and according to them I owed them no money... But now 7 years later they have so called "collections" calling me saying I owe them 625.00??? Where did that come from after all these years?!?! Are they just having money troubles and trying to get money out of former students who have already paid them???
