Thank Goodness for all of you good people that have taken time to document this horrible scam known as Maria Duval, the parapsychology center, and many more as I understand it.
About 2 months ago I was in Tamp Florida and picked up this coupon clippers book in the hotel lobby which is where I found this fantastic ad to participate in a study by the parapsychology center to prove that picking winning numbers on games of chance werent just a mere coincidence and I could win tons of money if selected and all I would have to do is be willing to give testimonials as my payoff.
1 week ago, I receive a thick envelope full of promises from this Maria Duval who is "supposedly" donating her time, assistance, and of course "renowned" abilities to helping this study to prove its case. Well, when it got to the part about the money, I just put it aside feeling a little sceptical. 2 days later, I get another one now from just the parapsycholgy center and with a Forest Hills NY address, telling me I have been accepted yet ofcourse containing a letter also from Maria Duval repeating what I had saw in her letter so now I think its legit right.
So tonight, I decide to sit down and read all of it, got real excited, gave my CREDIT CARD # for the $45 fee I was being charged, put in my picture as requested and filled out the survey, wrote Maria a letter thanking her, and sealed the envelope putting a stamp on it and laying it to the side of my desk.
Then I had this nagging sensation to research this center which brings me to the point I am at now. DISGUST! I guess Maria was being a true psychic when she said something lucky was going to happen to me soon because you wonderful people just saved me probably thousands of dollars. My credit card alone has a $27K limit and is rarely charged on and paid off every month and here I am giving out my credit card # to this Ridiculous, unconscienable, soulless fraud in hopes my life will be a little better when her intention is to really just to add more distrust and doubt through her scams. I'm am repulsed by this person or persons but greatful I chose to do the research in advance and caught my mistake in time.
Why isn't she in Jail? Obviously this is very serious and getting worse everyday yet instead of getting a 6x6 cell block w / 3 square meals a day, she gets a new address and a free pass to scam more good people out of their hard earned money.
I sure hope someone reads this and thank you so much to all of you for taking time to put your thoughts and comments here and saving me from possibly the biggest mistake I could have made. Just remember, as the saying goes, you reap what you sow and we may never see it or hear about it, but since this person (S) is sowing alot of evil, I'm going to assume she will get a hellatious payback and I trust God will come through, for all of us.
Hang in there and keep writing please. You never never whose life you touch this way! Sow them seeds!!
