Ripoff where is our refund?

Dear Receiver:

We learned of your site several months ago on television and was impressed with what you guys are doing for the people who are taken advantage of, mainly by this company. You and many others are needed in this business world of uncertainty.

Well, our story just happens to be the same problem, Just-Leather.

My wife and I do business through ebay. One day my wife and I had come across this website that seemed to have it all in leather goods. My wife was very excited to see this place of leather goods. My wife had been involved in Ebay selling for a number of years.

She had a close to perfect feed back rating from her clients, she was doing well. She was looking forward to doing business with Just-Leather. She down loaded everything on the leather goods from the Just-Leathers website, it took her hundreds of hours to do so.

My wife's Birthday was approaching and we had plans to bring it in, in New Orleans. Her Birthday was the 4th of April, and we left from Downingtown, pa. On the 3rd of April, driving by car.

Prior to leaving, she had received a few orders. These orders were for the leather goods from Just-Leather. I want to explain to you that we were dealing with Just-Leather in a drop shipment arrangement. My wife forwarded her orders to Just-Leather, and we went on our vacation to New Orleans, La.

It seemed like the moment we got in our room, at the St. Marie hotel in New Orleans the problems started. Hours later, when my wife turned on her laptop, the first thing she saw in her e-mail was a woman asking, what happened to her leather coat she ordered.

At the time we didn't think it to serious. We thought that the client was just being impatient. This client of ours sent another email, and now my wife is getting worried.

We went on the town trying to enjoy our vacation but, my wife and I couldn't really get into the evening without worrying about the complaint from her client. We thought, could there be other complaints since we were on the town.

We were there for three days and the complaints were coming in with every visit to her e-mail box.By the time we left New Orleans the complaints were growing.in twenty-three hours of driving, we were now home, back in Downingtown, pa.

When my wife had gotten up the next day, she was over welmed with complaints concerning the delivery goods that clients were not getting. My wife, with her good spiritual heart wanted to give this company more time to get the products out to our clients.

We called around the clock trying to get these people on the phone. From time to time we would actually get a speaking person on the phone who could respond to questions. One of the people I had become use to talking to was a man name Ryan.

Ryan introduced himself as one of the vice presidents of the company. Ryan was going to take care of everything and, we gave him time to do so. But, time went on and we would hear nothing.in the mean time, clients were still sending letters threatening legal action and it was becoming a nightmare.

We keep faith with our clients at all times, but, we were between a rock and a hard place.

There was nothing we could do, but, threaten legal action against Just-Leather. They became alarmed and wrote us a letter asking were we threatening them and that they had three hundred employee's working there, and that we were welcome to come there.

This may have been brought on by me calling them one night, asking them do I have to come there and get things straight with our orders. At this point I realized that I wasn't dealing with a professional staff, which now worried me because now I'm thinking that this company could be more then just a company of leather goods..??

From that point we were drawing near the month of May. We continued to call and was again greeted by an answering machine that said all there representatives were busy with other customers. The next time we got Ryan, he said that he would look into it again, and gave my wife a tracking number.

My wife gave these tracking numbers to her clients who were complaining about the shipment of the products they paid for. After my wife did this, thinking that everything was on the up and up, she got another letter from her clients.

Our client said to my wife, that they used the tracking number and, the lady from Just-Leather said that the tracking number was a fake.

The lady told our client that the number was not one of theirs. Well, I called Just-Leather again and left a message that I knew would get them calling. I even tried putting myself in a statue that would appear to them that I was a business man, larger then I truly was.

We finally got a phone call. This time, the phone call was another boss man, that introduced himself as the owner of Just-Leather.

He stated that people would be fired and he was going to get to the bottom of our problem.

With this promise, again, we were feeling somewhat comfortable but, my wife and I were highly stressed out over this company that was clearly making a fool of us. There was much anger because, at this point we knew that if we didn't want our little business ruined, we had to refund our clients there money.

We did so, to the some of 387.44 dollars. We Expected to be reimbursed our money from Just-Leather, which never happened to this day.

It was clear that we would have to take some kind of action against them. It was clear that they were growing ever more bold in avoiding us.

From March 24th, to present day May 25th, we have been dealing with avoidance from Just-Leather, Stalling tactics out right.

We did receive a call from there service center, asking if there was anything they could do to keep our business. Now, with this call asking us this, we are well into the month of May, this month. We couldn't believe that they were asking this, when clearly all this time we have been asking for our money back.

Just-Leather asked us if sending the leather goods shipping free would help keep our business with them. They claimed that all the leather goods sent to our clients were damaged in the mail and came back to them. This excuse was given to us in mid April, but to this day, there has been no attempt to rectify anything, in any way, other then talk on there part.

I have been writing this letter to you a bit at a time. It has taken me a week to complete.

During this time, there has been no contact what so ever from Just-Leather, out of Freehold, New Jersey.

At this point we did not want them to ship anything! All we wanted was for them to refund our money so, we could get on with our life, business and put the stress of Just-Leather behind us.

They also claim that when our orders were damaged, that twenty-seven other orders had been damaged as well. We did not want to cause any problems for Just-Leather. They brought this report to you on them selves. After all the complaints we have read, they truly deserve to be held accountable for all the people and business they have hurt.

All we wanted was to get our money back. If I had the power, I would get everyone's money back if I could. Yes, I feel bad for all the people who have listed there story in this forum, truly I do.

So, it is Just-Leather who has put us in this position, of having to take this step in hope that Ripp-Off.com can help us. Yes, we do need the help and we will not forget Ripp-Off.com.

We have read all the complaints against Just-Leather. What is amazing to us, is how in the world does a company this known to consumer agencies can continue to exist? Here we are writing you in hope you can help us but, before us and surly after us this company will still continue to take advantage and mock the American consumers.

Truly, we hope you can help us in this just cause, in getting our money back, after so long.

Dear customer/client:

As many of you know, we have been in a depute with a distributor called, just leather. Located in freehold, n.J.

Many of you have been loyal, long term customers of ours.

Many of you were disappointed when we brought on board an additional distributor called, just leather.

To keep in good standings with our clients who have trusted our staff at dorsey's things, we have decided to take legal action against the company, just leather.

Unlike our commitment to you, the customer, in returning your money, which we have done. We have not been reimbursed our money from just leather.

The main reason for this letter to our clients is as such. We have instructed just leather to disregard any attempt to mail off any orders after there many failures to do so since march.

We asked them to close our accounts with them.

Reason being, is that we have reimbursed our clients there full refund.

Now, just leather says that some or all leather items have been sent to our clients.

Since we refunded our clients with a full refund, we at dorsey's things have no confidence that just leather is being truthful with us.

An investigation is pending against just leather for this reason.

This investigation may include contacting our clients to see if any of the merchandise has been received by the clients of dorsey's things.

If so, this would be merchandise received for free, in which we had no intention of bargaining in that area.

So we are asking our clients who have been on the other end of this dispute, if they have received any leather goods from just leather or in our address name.

Once we hear from you a yes or no, is when we will proceed vigorously with our action against just leather.

Please understand that in order for us to proceed in our litigation against just leather, we must know what we are claiming to be unprofessional practices on just leather's part.

If you have received this letter, then it means that you are one of the unfortunate clients that were let down by just leather and ultimately by us, due to there non commitment and shipping practices.

If you could please respond to us with a brief letter stating, yes or no, then we will take the next step in retrieving our money back from just leather.

We truly regret that we had to ask your help in this matter and we apologize for any inconvenience we have caused to you concern this.

Your last letter mentioned you have over 300 employees. Telling me this is irrelevant to the nature of what the problems we are having with you now.

I've learned that you have several sites under different names. So we will be watching with the possibility of doing business with you in the future.

That is if we see a professional reorganization of your companies methods.

Maybe your over sea's orders are more important to you then all these little people here in the U.S.A. I care for all these strangers but, i can't save the world.

But i will go to bat for my wife.

Since i have talked to you on the phone i felt a gentlemen's understanding was in order, which caused me to lower my feathers somewhat and let you get this mess taken care of.

Look, i have no desire to be a part of ruining your company over a couple dollars. This is principle with me my good man.

Invoking commerce, attorneys, and cameras to your front door is what i am trying not to do.

But ryan, make no mistake about it. I will spend the money to do this if one more employee of yours calls offering alternative solutions other then simply refunding my wife's money.

Now, i didn't call, yell, threaten, or anything disrespectful.in fact i have been rather nice.

I don't want to hear any more investigating, looking into it, firing employees, free shipping and we don't want to lose your business.

We are in receipt of your messages. I understand your frustration on the 3 orders you have placed with us and than the new 2 orders today. The first two orders came back damaged with 27 other packages from the courier. This is not any fault of yours. We can re-ship this out immed. The new order from 4/12 which is a barbi black is leaving today and the new 2 orders will be leavingi n 24-48 hours. I apologize for this happening and please understand things happen that are sometimes out of anyones control. What is in our control is figuring out the resolve and fixing it. All from here on down, just came in today. Just leather is telling us that they put a refund in our pay-pal account. But, there is nothing there. They insist they did.in all the evidence, please look at dates and you will see the games played.

They owe us 387.44 and there talking 60 some dollars twice put in our account.

Final update

This is an update since the many weeks of starting this letter to RIPP-OFF.com. As you can see, we have been very patient with JUST-LEATHER in this matter. All the time in writing this letter, they could have resolved this matter.

A few weeks ago JUST-LEATHER sent out a letter stating that they had a computer break down and for there clients to let them know if there is any problem with orders. Again, we replied to this and never received a response back.

Before this update, they did refund two payments which now, brings the balance owed to us at, 247.96.
