I went to shool for North Eastern Tech in Cheraw, South Carolina in 2000. Solid Computer Decision of Charlotte, N.C. Was sending Instructors down for this class.
I was decieved like everyone else. Offered a job and if I wasn't offered one I wouldn't be responsible for the loan and refunded. I was 22 or something around that time and I thought this could change my life.
So my mom was gladly to help me get this loan. I took all the classes got all the certificates some of the final certifications I didn't receive cause you had to take test for them. I later in the middle of preparing for the final test try to contact my instructers for the promised tutorials and help for exams that we would need. I found out then that the company filed bankrupt and like the articles no signs of SCD anywhere. Like the vanished over night. North Eastern Tech currently isn't fighting or trying to help these people get there financial names cleared.
I was currently one of the hundreds of people dealing with the burden of this scam.in the last month Sallie Mae has harassed me and my mother 2 to 5 times in a single day. Even though they speak to us they continue to call abusing us through words telling us were no good, we should pay our debts, and calling me a dropout when I finished the course. These unediquette type ways make me realize this company can't be for real. A woman also by the name of Heather told me if it was a scam its not their problem pay the loan. I read these articles and put two and two together.
Yesterday, I needed to get a copy of the loan cause I'm trying to get some training and I need to know what type of loan Sallie Mae gave me. So I called the toll free number of Sallie Mae tell them what I need they say the will call me back.
Hour Later they called me back from Progressive Loan phone number some people should know this company from T.V. Ads. For those interested in the number it is 610-946-1200. I'm thinking SLM is trying to branch out from their scams with SCD but I say they shouldn't be allowed to work with loans period. This guy tells me he will have to in his words " Write Up The Info and it will take a week". Then he goes on to ask why I need a copy of my loan. I tell him that I'm trying to get some help. He goes on again to say it will be a week he has to " write it up". While this is going on someone in the background is repeating what he's saying making comments like yeah 'he got to write it up".in return I bet you they won't send me the contract of my initial loan. Someone should check into Solid Computer Decisions and SLM and now Progressive Loan and shut them down for good.
