Beware of this company word smart. They will lie to you from the start. You will recieve a call stating your childs interest either filled out at school or online. How you child is interested in getting into college. Either in state or out of state. Next how your child has a concern about sat scores. Thats where they will get you. Thinking that you are helping your child is how the prey on you. Of course you want your child to be accecpted into a nice college and they use this tactic to promote the product. I ordered the discs to help my child.
That same day I told my daughter I recieved a phone call from smart word about her interest in the program. My daughter told me that she never filled out anything inquiring about sat scores or an interest in word smart.in fact she never even heard of word smart. I in return called word smart back the following day. I spoke to a lady gave her my customer id and the sales persons name. I told her in plain english to cancell this order my child did not inquire about this program and I was not interested in it. She was very nice and did so. About 2 or 3 weeks later I find a package addressed to my daughter and its from word smart. She never cancelled my order. I was lied to twice by word smart. I did not give them the aurthorization to use my credit card and word smart did it anyways. So I waited to see if they would have the gall to use my credit card again.
Guess what I recieved a statement from wordsmart 2 months later. Stating how they attempted to process my credit card for the shipment of #2 biling for volume e. The credit card was declined. To avoid missing out 9 volumes in your children's educational software collection, we urge you to contact our customer services office (800) 641-9673 within the next 7 days. My advise is cancel your credit card from your end or tell your bank to put a stop payment on word smart transactions.
