I am very disappointed with the process in which ETS submits their score reports. First of all, I am a student with limited funds who is being forced to spend an exorbitant amount of money for each test that is required of me to be a certified teacher. I have no other options but to use this organization in which I cannot stand. When filling out the destination of my score reports I chose a department at the University of Mississippi. This department never received my scores. The customer service manager that I spoke to said that because I sent my scores to the wrong department at the school, that I could not change the address to the right one. That is fine, I understand that. The problem I have is that no letter containing my scores was ever mailed to the specific department that I checked off. I was told that the department is not authorized to receive the scores. I have authorized my scores to be sent to them so why cannot they be mailed? So my scores, in turn, have not been mailed to anyone. I cannot verify that I have passed this test because A) I never received any written documentation at my residence of my score. B) No one at my university has received documentation. I find this extremely unsettling. I am being cornered into paying $40.00 to this company if I want to be in good standing in my masters program.
