We also have had dealing with Aurora Loan Service. The first letter received from them was the forclosure notice, and then after that we received the letter from National City Bank telling us they sold our loan to them.
For this reason we will never deal with National City Bank again.
As for ALS, there were AMAZING fee's associated with the past due amount that accumulated to over 20k in a hurry. Their goal, it appears from what we have learned through our search of the internet, in not to receive payments each month from mortgagee's, but it appears that ALS has the business purpose to forclose on ALL loans so they can resell the house and turn a profit in a hurry.
We really upset ALS a great deal because we like our house. We filed with the courts for protection and now Aurora will not even speak to us about the loan until we remove it from the courts.
As all of you can guess, if we do that ALS will jump on us with both feet and demand payment in full that instant.
There has never been a time, even in the beginning, when the person on the other end of the phone at Aurora Loan Service has been helpful, friendly, respectful, or courteous.
How can a company operate this way? How can the government permit a company to operate in this manner?
