Wish I had thought to come to the complaint before I got mixed up with these nuts at Liberty Wireless.
First of all I get phones (2) that are already on (and had been for about a week before I got them in the mail) and the bill due dates a week apart on each phone, which meant that one had about 2 weeks before I had to pay the bill and the other had approximately 21 days and it was due. I called the company and talked to a girl that was oriental/chinese/japanese, etc. And was very hard to understand.
I asked her if I could arrange to have the bills due at the same time and come at the end of the month since I am paid twice a month and that is when I want to have them due. She said they would be due when I pay the bill, the phones were cutoff until the end of the month (Feb, 28th) when I paid them.
Can you tell me why one phone is due on the 25 and the other is due on the 28th? So I went in on the internet and paid for 160 minutes (overage minutes) so that the phone that is due on the 25th would not be cut-off and I would be able to use it until the end of the month. Can you tell me why they cut my phone off on the 26th after all that.
After a week, I finally got someone on the phone and they could not explain to me why this happened other than my phone is due on the 25th. My other delima WAS, they wanted me to purchase another phone after one of the phones were stolen. To heck with that.
So they finally said they turned it off, I certainly hope they did, because I have closed my other credit card account and took the advice of othere Liberty Wireless Customers from The BAd Business Dealings Forum... Get a Pre-paid Credit Card and put just enough on the card to pay Liberty ONE TIME a MONTH. That is if you are going to keep dealing with them. I am going to treat them like they are pre-paid cellular until I get a chance to go back with my other provider (Sprint).
