EMS Ripoff, Sales Rep Jeff Albright Promised the Moon, EMS Delivered Nothing, No Dropshipping, Coaching Program Not As Promised

EMS contacted me and mentioned that I had recently downloaded an e-book from Jim Cockrum. I asked if he was affiliated with Jim and he did not deny that, so, like a huge dummy, I went on the assumption that he was, and was interested in what he had to say because of my respect for Jim. I knew that Jim offered some kind of coaching and when Jeff mentioned mentoring, that fit in with my idea.

I was not interested in a mentor who did not make at least $100,000 a year — Jeff assured me that their mentor made at least that and would show me how to make a lot of money working only 7 - 8 hours a week.

The cost of the program was $5500 — I didn't have that kind of money, so he brought it down to $3,000 which would basically max out 3 credit cards.

Also, I asked him if he was LDS and he said yes & and he said that was even more reason he needed to get me on this program so I could start making some real money. Sounded good to me. Little did I know that all he was telling me was what was pleasing for me to hear, and not what was real.

In a subsequent conversation, he told me that his wife was all excited about me getting on this program & she has been doing it and really likes it. Of course she told him to tell me that it would be a lot of hard work. How is it that 7 - 8 hours a week is hard work? Why didn't the red flag come up then? Boy, I must be really gullible. Jeff must have been counting all his commissions and was on a roll with me.

I forgot to mention that I have been studying and researching on how to sell and make money on Ebay. And all I needed was someone who was already there making big money to steer me in the right direction. So, of course I signed up.

Then I signed a contract with them. Yes, Jeff was very slick and sounded like the real McCoy and seemed very concerned about me. I never heard from him again.

EMS kept promising they would send me a package, but it never arrived. Also that my mentor would be in touch with me. I started noticing some strange e-mail titles in my spam folder and curiously checked them out. Lo and behold, they were emails from a coaching staff? Huh?

Well anyway they set up a half hour session with Barry — one of their coaches, so I figured he would tell me all about the trade secret products mentioned in the contract and the dropshipper that Jeff told me about that was so great.

He didn't cover any of that. I told I could not access the website they provided — he said they would set me up with another one because they had been having trouble with that one.

This "coach" was a real nice person and didn't seem to know anything about EMS, which seemed strange. Also, he did not seem to know much more than I did.in fact I ended up giving him some ideas. Later I checked his sales on Ebay and they were under a $1,000 a month & far short of at least $100,000 in profit. I was wondering how you get $100,000 a year profit out of less than $12,000 a year in sales?

Also, the web site he then set up for me was also inaccessible. A day or two later, a merchant account rep called me to set up his merchant account with me for about $1600 cash or over $100 per month for 36 months. I told him to send me the info and I would check it out.

A few days later, the packet came in the mail and he called. I told him I had done some research and came up with a much cheaper company with a lot more services. He said I would have to go with him because he had the access code to my website (no wonder I couldn't access it) I told him to forget it.

Then I sent an e-mail to the coach telling him I was suspending all sessions unless notified otherwise by myself. I checked on the merchant account rep's telephone id and went online to see what I could find out about his company. His company is a large company that handles business websites and government business, such as the city of New York. This was not at all what I was led to believe by my good friend Jeff.

Maybe I shouldn't say this, but I do have a habit of speaking my mind, & I wonder if Jeff is a Catholic today, and maybe a Jehovah's Witness tomorrow, or whatever sounds good to whoever he is talking with. How convenient.

My daughter asked me who my coach was & she said she had the same company for $2,000. I know that she either loses money on her online business or barely breaks even. Wow, what expert coaching! She graduated valedictorian in high school and did excellent at BYU. Is it possible that her coaching was textbook coaching instead of real life?

Anyway, that really upset me that EMS would set me up with a very mediocre mentor. Of course their response was "Oh we will just set you up with another coach."

At this point, do you think anyone in their right mind would agree to that. I sure didn't. It was time to get out of this. I asked EMS to figure up their expenses thus far and refund me the balance. That would be the gentlemanly thing to do.

My legal advisor asked me if I had received the package that was supposed to be sent to me & no. Oh, the digital camera was backordered — I already have a good one. Why would I need another one? Since I haven't received the product, according to the contract, I have 3 days from when I receive the product to cancel.

So I sent a certified letter of cancellation to the address on the contract and in a few days it came back (no reason checked) On this site I noticed a different address that someone referred to in their complaint about EMS, so I sent another certified letter of cancellation to that address overnight delivery so I could track it. It was picked up. I need to state that prior to this action, I have tried every way I could to get them to refund my money.

Looks like they have been playing a stalling game to get by the 60 days that I have to have the billing charges on the credit cards reversed. I told EMS they left me no choice but to request a reversal. EMS responded threatening me if I damaged their merchant account, they would take legal action against me. I was surprised.

I guess up to this point I kept hoping these people would show a little bit of integrity and honesty that most people have. When I received the threat, it did kind of take me aback and I am sure that is exactly what they wanted.

Now I knew that these guys were Ripping Me Off — no question about it. My response to them was that I was the one who was damaged for $3,000 — not them. They have my money and I don't have anything that they promised for that consideration. Would you not think that I would be entitled to it back, then? How could I damage them, when they had so severely damaged me with my own money!

Anyway, my apologies for such a lengthy report. These guys — all they want is your money and when they have it — you are "screwed" pardon my non-political correctness. I am still working on it and the credit card companies are investigating.

Also, I am sure this fraudulant company will respond to my complaints. When you read their response, please realize they are lying through their teeth and can be very convincing.in fact, I am not so sure that some of their employees are kept in the dark and don't know what is going on and really think they are saints in helping people and these people are used to respond to complaints.

I already knew far more about marketing on the internet and Ebay than these guys do & I've done a lot of research and all I needed was a bit of guidance from someone who is doing it. What an easy target for major Ripoff from EMS.

Avoid them like the plague. They can only hurt you in your pocketbook and provide very inferior service and no product. They are all hype and salesmanship and no substance. I wish it were different. I wish I were getting my money's worth, but when the realization started sinking in, my only choice was to cut my losses and move on. Go to their website and look for people who have had good experiences with them. The last time I checded, there were none. Does that say anything about them?

I now have a mentor who is a class act — very inexpensive and honest and full of integrity. I have already learned a thousand times more from this person than I could have ever gotten from EMS. Why would I waste my time with such an inferior outfit.

Also, most people who have signed up with them with their hardearned thousands, don't have a clue what inferior service is and probably drop out thinking that it is their fault not realizing that EMS just took them for a royal ride! I feel that is criminal & please don't fall for " Oh, I am LDS, too (or whatever religion) and I sure need to help you make some real money." Utah is the scam capital of the world. Yeah, I was really sleeping on that one, But what they said sounded so plausible. Don't bank on it. Learn from my and others who have complained. Thank you.
