Ripoff automatically withdrawls $139.00 from checking account if you don't respond to junk mail Account numbers are given through previous call in orders www.pharmacycards.com

After calling to check on my checking account balance, I discover two withdrawls that I did not authorize. One was from a company called pharmacycards.com for $139. The other was from one called "Just for You" for $90.
Their scam is to first buy checking account information from certain companies. Mine was from one of these companies where you order something over the phone off the T.V. Using a check instead of a credit card.

Beware - this was the only time I did this, and that was in 2001! Next, they deposit one cent into your checking account to see if it is still active. Then they use the previous cancelled check, THE SAME ONE, to authorize a withdrawl for their company.

Susan Wheeler claims to be an authorized signatory for you, and and $139.00 is withdrawn from your account and there is NO WAY your finicail institution can stop it - It is automatic! There is no way to stop a transaction when you don't even know it is taking place!!! Go to your Finicial institution and ask for a copy of check from this company. Check the routing number, account number, THEN the CHECK number. Look in your old check register and see who you wrote that check to. Then report that company to the Better Business Bureau, also. Remember be on the look out for other companies also.
