Stay away from Liberty University! It is supposed to be a Christian university but they don't follow biblical principles. From my experience, Liberty doesn't screen their employees very well either. One advisor that I worked with admitted to me that she was having an affair and getting divorced from her husband. She didn't see that she was doing anything wrong. She explained that God wanted her to be happy.
The employees in the financial aid department are so disorganized and have no idea of what they are supposed to be doing. I called 4 different times, spoke with 4 different people, and received four different answers to the same question. On numerous occasions they have lost faxes that I sent. One fax I had to send 3 times because they kept losing it.
For my first year, the teachers were really good. But the past year the competency of the teachers has even gone downhill. The teachers have even been expressing how Liberty has it's priorities out of order.
I will no longer attend this university. I will not compromise as they have done.
