I enrolled with TBPI in early October. I paid them over $1800.00 for the materials and schooling option to obtain my tattooing license. After I completed all of the required classwork, I also completed the 25 pieces required to receive my license. When I tried to contact the school, my correspondence was never responded to. When I called, their voicemail said it was full. That went on for 8 weeks. I finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey. I have yet to hear anything from them on this matter either. Go figure.
I do know that one of the owners of the company, Denise Richardson passed away in late HOWEVER, she was not the only owner, and if they were in business as long as they say they were, they had to have some sort of insurance against something catastrophic happening to their company. I want my 7 certificates of completions for the courses I took AND my Body Art Specialist license... As well as at least $500.00 of my $1800.00 back, since they did not come through on all of their promises!!! I did everything that was required of me for those certificates and the license and I did it all without the Live Interactive "help" they said they would offer online from a trained professional. Why? Because no one ever answered the phone!!!
