Because of medical reasons I could not use the services of The College Network. I sent a hardship letter to be excused from my loan obligation with South East Financial. At that time I also explained in detail a depressed financial dispositon.instead of yeilding to my disablity the support staff sent me an email to encourage me to seek my BSN degree, But at the same time they did not address my disabilities. Seven months later, I recieved a letter to add 3 more class requirements incrueing an increase of 1553.00 that would be added to the loan agreement. It is unfair practice and a clear intent to extort more funding, especially since the recruiter had the opportunity to review my actual transcripts. I believe the government should know about extortion in the educational system so that this company will no longer swindle the disadvantaged prospective student. Hence hindering them from actually obtaining a degree.
