Still another unauthorized charge from Simple Escapes. I believe this wound up my Visa bill via "Improvements" - (another ripoff catalogue as a matter of fact, which winds up sending products not as described in their catalogue so no great surprise there.) Fraudulent charge posted on July 15 - I called in early August. They claimed the credit would be applied promptly. Yea right.
October 11 - nothing. I called Bank of America and the only way I can address this is to report it as fraud, get a new account # etc because my dispute is beyond 60 days. When I told them I was not willing to do that they would offer no h elp whatsoever.
So not only will I never do business with Improvements again, I'm cancelling my Bank of America Visa card AFTER I deduct the charge and a $20 aggravation fee. I am then going to the Consumer Fraud division of the State of Pennsylvania. Lawsuit baby.
