South of the River Music/Music at Your Door Step, founded by Dwight Harrison and Angela Fox, is a muisc lesson company that treats it's employees and customers terribly. As an instructor for the company for several years, I have dealt with numerous billing complaints from customers. Typically asking customers to give them their credit card numbers for automatic bill pay, and then failing to discontinue it and failing to follow up with customers after their cancel service. The company representatives are extremely difficult to get a hold of - pretty shady. Second, it is now March 15th, and I, as an instructor, have not received my 1099, which is supposed to be sent out by the end of January. I was promised three times that I would receive it within a few days. It is now almost 2 months over due, and they have again failed to send it out. Needless to say, my next series of phone calls will be to the Attorney General's Office, IRS and BBB. I'm looking forward to exposing this company and shutting them down. I'm hoping other teachers and customers will start coming forward and taking action against this company.
