Recently my wife recieved a letter from CAMCO stated she owed money on a bad debt from years ago. When she called CAMCO to question the debt from Bank of America they would only talk over her and tell her the debt was so old that they could not give an account number for the old debt, just that she owed the money immediately or they would attack her credit.
My wife and I have been married 14 years and the supposed bad debt came to her in her maiden name. I have personally been doing research on this CAMCO and cannot find even a fictitious business name filing let alone a business licsense on this company. If you encounter this company, DO NOT send them any money! Contact a Lawyer and go after this company no matter if their settlement is small or large.
