UOP online axia pheonix Sold me a lie then forced me into debt

I was interested in going back to school. I do not have very much time to spare on an education. I was promised that Phoenix Online was the one for me with my time restraints. After being promised convenience, support, and creditability I decided to enroll with Phoenix Online.

After being enrolled in Axia College of University of Phoenix I discovered that it was going to take up more of my time than I was promised. Even though it was more than what I could handle it was too late and the contracts were signed. So I decided to stick it out.By the third semester the time restraints became increasingly difficult as more was expected from me.

I was already upset for falling into what I thought was a trap. But as more was expected from me, the more I felt as though I wasn't learning anything at all. I dropped out when things piled up and I became more & more behind in my school work.

I had too much on my plate. I actually liked going to school online at the UoP. I believe UoP has a good sytem just not enough options. I could not get Financial Aid to cover part time classes, only full time. I couldn't lessen the amount of school work that was required for me to do.

Basically I needed more time and less work. Without being able to pay for my education in the first place trying to get one has put me in debt. To those of you thinking about trying University of Phoenix online, going full time consumes more time than they tell you. It is better to pay for it as you go and find out how much you can handle with the time restraint they require.

When students can devote the required time to graduate from Axia College of UoP Online, it is still nothing compared to the hands on training/experience that is needed in the real world. I believe certain aspects of educating when applying the UoP Online program is necessary to the future of online schooling and education in general. I will try online accredited courses again when I can afford it or when government grants allow me to go to school at my own pace instead of full time.

Right now going back to school anytime in the near future doesn't seem likely.in fact having a bad credit score makes it harder to get a better job.

An Enrollment counselor lead me to believe that 2 hours a day 5 days a week "online" was all it took to get by. That was a lie. The counselor didn't mention the other 10/12 hours it took reading, studying and writing 7 days a week.
