North America Scholar Consortium - NASC Honor Society
Emailed me acceptance into society. I paid and later found out it was a scam

I was sent an email informing me of my acceptance into a well reputable honor society based on my academic standing. I could pay a lifetime membership fee of $68 and have the benefits of this society. I payed the money and later went to look on the website and the site was a phony and there were other sites saying that the site was a rip-off.
