WLI Reservation rewards ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing

I placed an order with myvitanet.com for vitamins. As a result of that order WLI Reservationrewards began billing me $7 a month.

After an argument with them this morning, they agreed to refund the amount charged. I'll know by Friday if this does indeed happen.

They said that when you place an order with a company (not necessarily myvitanet.com), WLI offers a 30-day free trial for their services (dining, travel, etc. Discount). If you DO NOT send them an e-mail cancelling this, they assume you want the service and began billing you. Of course, if you do not know you've signed up for it, there is no way to send that all important e-mail.

The man (named Zoby) that I spoke with said that "most online business operate this way today". He said that if I had read the contract in full I would have seen it. I do read everything and I did not see it. He said it would have been in the e-mail I received. With dozens of spam e-mails sent daily, the company is assured that theirs will be deleted with those dozens of others guaranteeing that it will never be seen (assuming it was ever actually sent) and therefore cannot be returned.

I also sent an e-mail to myvitanet.com stating that I wouldn't be using their business in the future as well.

I have seen numerous complaints for businesses beginning with WLI and receiving charges from them after signing up with other sites such as Classmates.com and 1-800ProFlowers.
