I was happy to be selected one-year ago from Manhattan Model search which gave my name with phone number to John Casablancas modeling agency. At 6:00pm, I went for an evaluation with over thirty other people, we were placed in line to walk the catwalk and rated based on appearance.
If a representative called you the next day between the hours of 12:00noon thru 8pm that means you were not eligible, but the determination was based on me writing a time for a one-on-one interview. I selected a 7:30pm time slot and didn't get the phone from Casablancas.
I spoke with Admissions representative she gave me my ratings of B, as she stated. I was overwhelmed, but what followed was awful. She told me that since I never had model or acting experience, I must undergo a training that starts each other Saturday and costs $1385.00. She demanded that I pay $50 to register and process my paper work for books.
Afterwards I must pay $220 down to continue to the next class. Finally, she further demanded that I pay the balance due of $1165.00 to continue with training. Hesitatingly, I told her can I think about it and my finances want allow me to make such a payment.
She alled me on Saturday and told me if I could pay $50 down the balance due would get paid by her sending me on Promotional Jobs. Again I explained I don't have that money, due to college expenses.
