I was almost sucked into the best sales pitch I have ever heard.
Bernard Haldanes staff must have masters in giving false info with out being specific enough for legal action. Every question I asked was answered with another round of circles never really answering it to begin with.
At the first interview they really pump you up. They build on the postive things that you express in your resume and the questions you have answered. I spent two hours in their office and thought I could not go wrong with these people. They tell you how your qualification are some of the best and that your marketable anywhere from $60,000 to $80,000. When the local market in my field is only showing $35k to $45k. I left feeling on top of the world.
On the second interview they request your spouse to be there. So I thought if my wife beleives what they have to say then I couldn't go wrong. My wife even went in with the attitude if this costs more than fifty bucks were out of here. She is very skepticale about sales scemes.
So during the interview they focuse on how they have this uptapped network to work through. They tell you how 75% of the best jobs are found through networks. They constanstly tell you that they have boat loads of happy customers that have built their network for them.
Next they throw out a $5,600 dollar price tag with promises on how fast they can find your new career. My wife and I both felt like this was great. I was going to sign the contract, but thought about something he told me earlier. He gave me a senerio where a company was going to make an offer and want an answer right away. He told me not to give them an answer right away, "You might end up shooting yourself in the foot, " he said. So I told him I had to think about it. He poured on the sales pitch. He was very convincing. He finally told me I had 24 hrs to make up my mind. So I went home got on the web and found all kinds of information about them.
THE RIP OFF REPORT was one of the main factors in saving me $5,600.00. I am so greatful to find this site. I also found out that in this State there are over thirty cases with the consumer affairs dept involving Bernard Haldane Associates.
