If you are trying to grow your business and think cable TV is the way to go, RUN from Shop America Network as fast as you can!
They will tell you that your product is the greatest, but it will have to pass their focus group. They make their decision as to whether they will carry your product by a these figures: 70% focus group & 30% management. Everyone passes both. Just write the check and you'll have a product worthy of a king and they will "get it on the air for you".
Then they will tell you that you need almost double of the amount of inventory that you have on hand, increasing your investment, so in the end, your loss is overwhelming.
Their 4-minute segments are produced by DRTV in Melbourne, FL. They will tell you that you will work with a scriptwriter to come up with your segment. That never happens. The actors have your product and they "wing it"... There isn't any script. I've been a scriptwriter/technical writer for years. People, there's ALWAYS a script. Actors stutter and stammer if they have to come up with the words on their own.
Shop America Network has airtime... If you disconnect your cable TV, hook rabbit ears up, pray that there are no large trees, buildings or anything between you and the channel they are supposed to be running your segment on, someone somewhere MAY just see your spot. That is unlikely.

I have called and talked to Diane Mercer. She puts up a good show of being so concerned that you aren't satisified. She swears that she will check into the problem, talk to her people about perhaps redoing your spot, etc. And will "get back" with you to see what can be done.
You'll never hear back from Diane Mercer. I'm still waiting for her to return my calls. I want a full refund.
