In April I was ripped off for $221.95 from Global Financial. I read another report online from an individual who had been ripped off too and had been able to contact First Americans' phone number 1-480-785-2262 and got his money back. I called First American today and was informed that yes, Global Financial had been associated with First American but as of May 19th Global Financial was no longer in business and I was given a fax number from First American and asked that I fax them proof of the money debited from my account and where I could be reached. First American was very helpful and it's worth a try. I get the feeling that First American is trying to save its own reputation by reimbursing people their money.
