In I started My pre-req.'s at the Lakeland Campus. Up until I started my Core I would have recommended this school to anyone. Small class sizes, 1 class per month. It was great and easy.
Well I was in the nursing program in the beginning of 2008. When I started this core your grade had to average out to a 70 to pass. 2 weeks into the class (after we had already taken a test) They decided to change it to a 76.. Near the end of the core My instructor's and the dean pulled me into office and basically dropped me from the program, they told me that I would need a 103% on the next 3 tests to make a 76.
Well needless to say, once they dropped me they realized that 19 out of 22 people were failing so they dropped it back down to a 70. Ya you talk about pissed. They costed me $8000 for an 8 month semester and only went for 3. So yeah, I would say it was rediculous, but I was determined to be a Nurse. So I went back.
I started my core again at the middle of After we had 5 Nursing instructors and 2 pharmacology instructors, it came down to the end. Well I passed Nursing. (But seeing how they integrated these 2 courses it was much harder and Keiser was not known to do this - they always say "youll only take one class at a time" well not this time. So anyways our pharmacology instruc. Was a joke, He would give you a little push if he liked you.
He & I had it out, he didnt like me. Once it came down to pass or fail, a friend I had met in the program had a 75.4% well he gave her a lil push.
Needless to say I failed pharmacology by. 04.. Not even a whole half a point. I was hot. Wouldnt you be. So anyways, take this information as you will. Im not the first to complain and probably wont be the last.
