On 3/21, I received a form letter from checkrite for a service fee of $30.00 for a bounced check, which I admit I made. It was a mistake. My bank sent the check back to the consumer as unpaid and two days later the consumer resubmitted the check and it was paid. Date of check was 3/2. Checkrite automatically debited my checking account for $30.00 service fee on 3/13. When I received their form letter on 3/21, I called them and they claimed they do not debit accounts for service fees. I told them I would send them documentation which I did on 3/26. Well, guess what. I just received another form letter, today 5/9, dated 5/6 for the same fee.
